Eterne

Editorial Design

A project created at Futerra together with the strategic and creative team.

Challenge

Produce and reconceptualize the format of the moving company Eterne's sustainability report. Give the report longer life while maintaining the value of the product in order to cut down the production cost.

Insight

The purpose of the sustainability report is not only to present the result of Eterne's sustainability work, but also to function as a tool for new business. Therefore the report should be divided in to two folders, one main folder telling the story of the company and one secondary folder showcasing the result from the past year. This means that the main folder can live on as long as the content remains accurate, while the secondary folder can be reproduced with the updated numbers each year.

Approach

We decided to keep the format of the main folder, apart form taking out the pages displaying the results. The main folder is produced in a sturdy and matte paper while the new folder containing the results is produced in a paper with newspaper characteristics, making it light and thin enough for some of the ink to shine through the pages. The contrast between the two folders indicates the longer life of the main folder and the fleeting up to date status of the one containing the result.
